picture pages picture pages lots of fun with...
nobody likes posts without pictures right? so here's a bunch for your eye candy viewing pleasure along with a general overview of the uber-exciting weekend.
saturday morning we touched-up some paint, cleaned the entire house and got all ready for a couple of showings. then a friend and i headed out to this shop {half-hour drive in the middle of nowehere}: patchwork plus.
and here's my review: TOTALLY worth the drive. they had several prints i was looking at online AND a bunch more that i loved including some hard-to-find amy butler charm. the store itself is massive and has two bathrooms, which is great when one really has to pee {because she's still massively hydrating herself trying to kick this cold} and the other is occupied. they have classes as well though i don't know that i'll have time to get one in before we move.
as you can see, these shots are just of a couple of corners of the shop {the owner was sweet enough to let me take a couple of pictures}, massive amounts of fabric... if you're ever around this area i highly recommend it. {and up the road a few more miles is a cozy little lake town called skaneatles where big wigs come to vacation.} luckily i didn't go too crazy, but i'll plan on going back next month before we move away forever. oh well, nyc's sure to have a fabric store or two, no?
after the fabric grab, we headed to lake town for some delicious pasta at this place. yum, leftovers for dinner after the open house, which was pretty successful. we have a few interested buyers for our house and hope to get something concrete soon!!
look at all these great fabrics i took home! {are you jealous of my flea market fancy, i know you are...}

Wow, that place is huge! It's a lot like Quilty Pleasures where I bought the material for Carter's bedding, but on a much bigger scale! Love the fabrics you got-not sure which is my fave, maybe the hot pink. I do love pink.
Mmmm, love that Denyse Schmidt stuff.
can you tell me how much a yard those droolicious fabrics were? the ones in our town run around 8.99 and up.
everything's about the same around here. i don't think i paid more than $9 for any of them though.
