but she's having a girl!
congrats to cousin jen! of course she had to miss out on a visit from lisa loeb to her local yarn shop, but i guess finding out the sex of your baby is a bit more important. i mean, lisa wasn't going to be singing anyway, just demonstrating her mad knitting skillz....yay for pink!

WHAT? Lisa Loeb? Knitting? Yarn Shop? Baby girls? Can't think of a better mix. Congrats Jen!
P.S. I loathed pink. Till I had a girl. Now her room is pink. And so are my Chuck Taylors. Ehem.
we're thinking reds. and yellows. she can be a retro baby.
congrats, jen!!!
love,
cuz
love lisa loeb!!!! yay for girls!
ps, you might want to check my blog. no swf here, but i think you might find it interesting.
I was just going through my baby girl stuff to weed out a few things to give to a friend who had twin girls recently. Most of it is pink, some purple. But as I'm going through every other thing I'm like,"Awwww." or "I loved that on Layla". It was hard to part with some stuff, but I had tons given to me(I have only 8 nieces!) Anyway, congrats on pink, Jen! When is the girly due anyway?
congrats jen. be different and dress the baby in brown.
yay jen! welcome to the "i'm having alittle girl" club. there's not really a club, but all of my friends just recently had a girl, and i'm pregnant with a girl, and now you are, so we totally should start one.
oh, and lisa loeb is so cool! i would've been bummed if i missed her.
um, that wasn't "yo_mama" that posted a comment. that was me. sorry!
Does that mean I'm not in the club-I'm having another boy. I had a girl 19 months ago, does that count?
i don't know...the club has pretty strict rules. but i guess we can let you in.
i dreamed about the lisa loeb thing last night!!! bummer!
hurray! i love being the center of attention on cheri's blog! i should steal the show more often!
a few things to address:
i will never own a pair of pink chucks. no way.
i missed lisa loeb but was ok with that because i got to see my baby! the little feet are so cute i cried.
lisa loeb will be on the Do It Yourself network on a show called Knitty Gritty but i don't know when it will air. i won't watch it because we have the cheapest cable possible.
i bought pastel purple yarn to make a little hat. i'm glad cheri is backing me up on the good colors though because too many pastels make me want to puke.
i really really really thought it was a boy. i dreamed of little boys, i envisioned little toy trains and baseball caps and red toy trucks... sigh, i guess moms aren't always right.
Maybe she'll be a tomboy and play with trucks anyway! I was-I never had a Barbie, just G.I. Joes and Transformers. I hated pink until a few years ago too because my mom tried to dress me in pink since I was the only girl out of 3 boys. So look up, Jen. There is hope.
