i love the library. i used to hate the library and reading in general but now that i have to actually pay for my own movies/books/clothes/heat/food, i'll generally gravitate towards anything free. a movie for a whole week for free? yes please.
lastnight it was 'sense and sensibility'. poor romantic chemistry between the leads but the story is cute. if not predictable. i'ld recommend it for fans of pride and prejudice. and for you 'house' fans, hugh laurey makes an appearance in the supporting cast as pretty much dr. house...
tonight it's 'saving grace', an indie film {sorry krista, but i LOVE indie films} about a widower left with a failing farm and a load of debt. to break even she schemes to grow and sell pot on her land. i'm really looking forward to my single piece of lasagna and not having to share the remote or the blanket.

No hubby to steal the remote and covers?
Our library doesn't have much to choose from so I usually just get the kids movies. Wanna watch Franklin Goes to School? It's riveting.
Sounds like a perfect evening.
And, about that sewing.... hmmm. careful what you offer - I am so intrigued.
: )
you should rent the first two seasons of weeds. its great. especially since you like growing pot so much.
i could never grow pot. i'ld kill it. forget to water it, give it sun, shade, smoke it, etc....
and while i'm watching the movie i'll be packaging up new pendants for the shop! some large, some small, some square, but all cool....
i kill every plant that i touch, i would never be able to grow it either.
and i rented this movie Because I Said So, with Mandy Moore and Diane Keaton and Lauren Graham, and I figured it woudl be awful, and I actually liked it, so you should rent that too.
grant just checked out a bunch of movies from the library, too! we love free.
sense and sensibility is a great movie... emma thompson is one of my favorite actresses!
you'd be surprised how well weed grows... hardy plant that pretty much nothing can kill.
just saying.
I have Saving Grace on my netflix list. I just saw Pride and Prejudice, and found I liked the movie Sense and Sensibility WAY better.
Last night I watched a documentary on abducted Ugandan children and the horrific things the rebels make them do. Probably not one you want to watch if you're looking for sappy love stories.
'blood diamond' really touched on that subject too. it was tragic to see what they do to the children in their country.
