livin' in the heights

it's official! we found a new apartment. we'll move in sometime this month! slowly with the small stuff and then one scheduled day for the furniture. i'm hoping to make it as stress free as possible, shya right.

it's a brownstone, one floor walk up {yay} and it's 500 dollars less a month! that's HUGE. seriously. i'm so excited. next time i go back i'll take some interior shots. for now here's the outside. oh and did i mention it's a SUPER quiet street.

Gorgeous! Did I tell you that Jim and I met a guy at the hospital that grew up just a couple of streets away from where you are now? He and his wife live down here now but still miss the city. Congrats on your find... love you both.

Yay! Glad you found a place-and cheaper to boot! That's always a plus. Do they really have quiet streets in NYC?

  5. hurray! i'm soooo glad you're staying in the city... i was afraid you guys would be running to CT by now. good on ya! and since it's cheaper, you can finally afford to send a fun box down to the southern hemisphere!

  7. See, and I was SURE Jen was going to say something like "...and with all that extra money, you'll be able to make a visit to the southern hemisphere..." Similar, but, not the same.
I love new places. VERY exciting. Redecorating = more trips to Ikea. And Target. Big Fun.
Congrats on finding a bigger/cheaper/better/quieter/funner/cosier/fancier place.

  8. haha melissa! before we moved here she specifically said "if you move down there, we are so NOT coming to visit!" so a fun box is all i can hope for...

but there's always an open invitation for anyone we know, any time.
