sorry you all had to see that awful picture of my tired face right after giving birth... not pretty! at least she photoshopped it a little... the baby is a joy though! hurray!
Way to go Jen! She's so cute! I am dying to hold my little guy in my arms too-I'm thinking he's going to be in kindergarten before he comes out! Did you have her naturally? How long was your labor? So happy for you!
daisy you're due in a few days right? labor is amazing! just remember to be as relaxed as possible... apparently i was too dumb to know i was in real labor...which turned out good because i never panicked and stayed calm and relaxed... i stayed at home all day doing tons of housework, paying bills, calling friends and family... then we raced to the hospital where they told me i was 9 centimeters! 10 minutes later she was out kicking and screaming...
Yep, due Sunday! This is my third one, and they have all been home birth with midwives. My first was 16 hours, the second was less than 3. My second came so fast my husband missed it and my mom delivered her cause no one was there! This time I have had so much false labor for the last five weeks I'm going bonkers! I'm praying my water breaks at the beginning so I'll know for sure it is real. Enjoy your little one, Jen. They grow so fast!
daisy... good Lord! you are a pro! i was too scared to do homebirth esp since we're so far away from all family. but now that i've actually been thru the labor i think if there's a next time, i will seriously consider it. i labored all day at home and once we got to the hospital i could feel the difference in how my body reacted to everything even though i was already in active labor!
congrats, jen!!!
ReplyDeleteShe's here! She's here! Yay, Jen.
