it's a swap, it's a swap!

so it's been itching away at me, this idea of another swap. and i couldn't think of anything that we could all do again, until now:

a magazine swap.

yep, recycle those old magazines that you don't have the heart to toss or the time to read again.

so here's the deal: mail ONE magazine to each person on the list. AND include one fun thing to accompany it {studies have shown magazines can get very lonely when placed in dark sealed envelopes for extended amounts of time...}. so that's it. if you want in here's what you do: email me {subject line MAG SWAP 07} at tinkerellen@yahoo.com with your mailing address. magazine mail-out date of november 10th. you can mail before that of course, but this would be the deadline....

    no.
if you can't even send out a simple recipe in an email i'm not mailing out my precious New Yorker mags...

  4. I don't even have any mags-I'd have to go out and buy one, and then it would be Canadian so half the info would be irrelevant.

  5. a canadian mag would be interesting i think. but i don't think i'll participate, seeing as all i have are ladies home journal and i'm not about to send out any of my precious real simples....

it was a great idea tinkerdoodle... it IS hard to give up those fave mags like decorating with paint and home companion. keep the ideas flowing tho. what about sending 1/2 yard of fabric? or sending nun cards? [my favorite] just typing out loud...

  8. okay, to embellish me mum's idea. what about those fabric fragments from projects that were too big to throw away, but you haven't done anything with them. like a scrap swap. bits of ribbon and such. or how about something fun and easy, like a card with interesting, yet not expensive, buttons on it?
