on a dreary rainy day.
this little tote is a back-to-school gift for my neice. i made them each one but this is by far my favorite. i used vintage fabric from a thrift store and hello kitty ribbon for handles. the inside is flannel so it's soft and cozy. it's also filled with lots of back-to-school goodies like heart erasers and multi-color glitter pens.
do something creative today. whether you have five minutes or an hour. an even bigger challenge is to blog it tomorrow and comment me the link.
they are gonna love them...

Blog? I have a blog? What's a blog? ;)
ReplyDeleteI actually do have some crafty stuff I just finished and am working on and I plan on taking pics and posting tomorrow. Do I win a prize? LOL!
Love the bag. I remember when the sisters and I were younger we would go to a Hello Kitty store in the mall and buy all these cute erasers and pencils and candies. We were in luff.
daddy bought me this hello kitty pen that folded in the middle, if that makes any sense...well in first grade a boy took it from me and he wouldn't give it back, and we ended up having a tug of war with the pen, and what do you know...the pen comes flying back and hits me in the mouth. blood everywhere. darn you hello kitty pen!
ReplyDeletelove the hello kitty ribbon!! perfect for a little neice..also sparkly gel pens rule.
ReplyDeletei've blogged my creative endeavors today rather than tomorrow. tomorrow will be a flurry of sewing and stalking the birdfeeders again.
Such a great bag!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun gifts for you nieces :)
i will not blog and i will not link but you will be happy to know i've been stamping homemade cards like crazy! and i'm planning on taking a knitting class next month because i'm a dumbhead and can't understand the knit instruction books.
ReplyDeleteYou are like the greatest auntie ever! They must love you!
ReplyDeleteI do not have a blog-I just like reading other people's blogs. But if I had a blog I would have to write about how my three and a half year old son just said, Look Mommy! and he was mooning me, giggling. Then he says, Don't tell Daddy, okay? Hmmm, where could he have learned this behavior? I think Daddy's in trouble! =)
Oh, and I am working on something creative-a pastel piece to sell in a cafe where I sell some of my work. If I like it I'll put it on ringo.
ReplyDeletealready working on those great wands - they are on my blog now.
ReplyDeleteNow there's a challenge I can live up to! I've got a Knotty Bag over at my blog if you wanna have a peek.
ReplyDeleteNo sewing involved...
