sewing, yay!

sewing_yay.jpg, originally uploaded by tinkerellen.

guess what i got working late friday night {finally}? my sewing machine! which saves me about 130 bucks for a new one. and just think, all i had to do was properly feed the bobbin thread. thank goodness for google. so i stayed up late making all kinds of goodies for myself and my ferocious cousin. {which by the way, i've named a set of hairpins in the store after you, jen!}

so here's a couple of ipod holders i made and a checkbook cover....they're not nearly good enough to sell, so i'll have to keep practicing and maybe someday sewing goods will grace my etsy, until then i need to figure out how to make a pocket tissue holder...

hope everyone had a great easter!

    no you don't. they're a 'perfect fit', and they're big. i have plenty of room in the xs. trust me. the small would definately fit you. and it's a really nice thin cotton. i bought myself a brown one and i love it. BUT i will keep an eye out for M, L, XL the next time i'm out shirt hunting.

  7. Woo hoo! That is awesome. I love it when you can get things to work and save cash. Even better when you can create pretty things as a result.
